Drummer [Lift Creative Unit]
To mark the 30th anniversary of the Programa Especial de Realojamento (PER) — Lisbon’s Special Rehousing Programme — I was invited by Paulo Proença, creative director at Drummer [Lift Creative Unit], to develop the visual concept and create the layout for Gebalis’ commemorative book, designing almost its entire interior.
The concept is rooted in the geographical shapes of Lisbon’s neighbourhoods included in the programme, which I developed as structural elements throughout the layout. These forms organise and connect text, images, and data, creating dynamic, non-static compositions.
The project resulted in a vivid and expressive editorial piece that reflects the urban, social, and human dimension of the PER and the communities it serves.
